TERMS & CONDITIONS
FOR AUSTRALIAN OPEN TENNIS
PACKAGE
BOOKING FEE:
In order to reserve space, a signed booking form and non-refundable
booking fee of USD $500 must be received by our office. This
amount will be deducted from the final invoice. At
times, local operators charge booking deposits, which will
be determined with confirmation.
TOURNAMENT TICKETS:
Tournament ticket prices will be advised as soon as they are
officially published and will require instant purchase. An estimate of
the cost of the tickets is $75-80 per person per session, based
solely on past years.
FINAL PAYMENT AND DOCUMENT ISSUE
Final payment is due 75 days prior to departure. For payments
within 70 days of departure or if air tickets and documents
need to be issued immediately after payment, a certified check,
bank draft or wire transfer must be received. Normally air
tickets and travel documents are issued 30 days prior to departure. 60
days prior to departure - passport copies required as per new
US securities measures. Tickets cannot be issued without this
information.
CANCELLATION PENALTIES:
A) AIRLINES - As per airline rules, once
tickets have been issued, any cancellations will incur penalties.

INSURANCE:
It is strongly recommended that clients purchase cancellation
insurance to protect themselves
Against cancellation due to illness prior to or during travel. In
the event a traveller becoming ill during
a tour and has not purchased insurance, all hospital and medical
expenses are the traveller's
responsibility. Based on our current cancellation policies
the passenger may incur
up to 100% cancellation penalties and should protect themselves
with cancellation insurance
CURRENCY AND PRICING FLUCTUATIONS:
Should there be considerable currency fluctuations, we reserve
the right to adjust our costing
accordingly. In calculating the attached quotation, we
have used the current exchange rate(s), valid on
the date of this quotation. The exchange
rate(s) will be monitored closely prior to departure of the
tour. We will advise you of any increases, in writing.
Should there be any additional fuel surcharges by the Land
Suppliers we reserve the right to add this to the cost of the
land package.
NAMES MUST BE SUBMITTED EXACTLY AS THEY APPEAR
IN THE PASSENGERS’ PASSPORTS. Airlines
can impose penalties up to 100% for re-issue of tickets
for a name change/correction.
TSA REQUIREMENTS: All airline
reservations must contain the full exact passport name of each
passenger, along with their date of birth and gender.
VISAS AND PASSPORTS:
Visa requirements are as follows: ETA (electronic visas) are
required to enter Australia. We will be happy to issue ETA’s;
upon receipt of faxed or emailed copies of your passports
photo page. This applies to Canadian and US passport holders. For
all other countries please check with the Australian Consulate
on entry requirements, all other countries that are being visited or transited through should also have requirements
verified.
Please ensure you have arranged all documentation with the
appropriate consulate well in advance of your departure from
the United States. We will issue the electronic visas for Australia
for you at no charge. Please note that
a current passport, which is valid for six months after your return is
required for US citizens.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Goway/Traveland. and/or its agents act only as agents for
the client in all matters pertaining to travel. They assume
no responsibility nor liability in connection with the service
of any train, vessel, carriage, aircraft, motor or other conveyances
which may be used, either wholly or in part, in the performance
of its duty to the passenger; neither will it be responsible
for any act, error, or omission, or any injury, loss, accident,
delay or irregularity which may be occasioned by reason of
any defect in any vehicle or through the neglect or default
of any company or person engaged in carrying out the purpose
for which tickets or coupons are issued. In the event that
it becomes necessary or advisable for the comfort or well being
of the passengers, or for any reason whatsoever, to alter the
itinerary or arrangements, such alterations may be made without
penalty to the operators. Additional expenses, if any, shall
be borne by the passengers, conversely refund will be made
to the passengers if any saving is effected thereby. The airlines
concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission,
or event, during the time passengers are not on board their
planes or conveyance. The passage contract in use by the airlines
concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract
between the airlines and the purchaser of these tours and/or
passenger. The right is reserved to withdraw any or all tours
should conditions warrant, also to decline to accept or retain
any passengers as Members of the tours. Goway/ Traveland. or
agent can assume no responsibility for lost tickets or coupons.
QUOTATION CONDITIONS:
a) Please note that if a group falls below the
minimum number of 20 passengers at 90days prior to departure,
we reserve the right to amend the quotation.
b) Please note that while your quote has been formulated
using contracted rates with airlines, hotels and suppliers,
there are certain pricing elements that are outside of our
control and are subject to change. These include, but
are not limited to, taxes, airline increases, fuel surcharges
and rate of exchange.
